I have attended Catholic schools all the way from kindergarten through my master’s degree program. I attended St. Hubert School for elementary school and went to Benilde-St. Margaret’s for high school. I graduated from the College of St. Benedict with a degree in elementary education in May 2002, and was fortunate to come back home to St. Hubert School that Fall to begin teaching first grade. I was very lucky to find my niche early in my teaching career, and love first grade so much that I have stayed put! I received a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of St. Thomas in 2007. When I’m not teaching I love spending time with my family, especially with my sweet and adorable nieces and nephew. I also love reading, bowling, running, and watching a good movie. I feel so blessed to be teaching in such a wonderful community. Every year I learn so much from my students, and grow to love what I do even more.
