Teaching has been a life-long dream of mine!  After graduating from St. Hubert School, I attended Benilde-St. Margaret’s and went on to the College of St. Benedict. I graduated college in 2004 with a degree in elementary education, focused in English and communication arts.  Upon graduation, I was hired at St. Hubert School to teach fourth grade and I was thrilled to be able to go back to the roots of my Catholic education, but now as a teacher!  I taught fourth grade for three years and in 2007, I moved to second grade.  I received my master’s degree in curriculum and instruction with a certification in reading from the University of St. Thomas in 2009.  Being in a classroom full of inquisitive, excited students and seeing learning occur for all of us on a daily basis is one of my favorite parts of being a teacher!  I feel blessed to be able to bring my faith and our Catholic teachings into all aspects of my classroom!  In my personal life, I love spending time with my family, cooking, reading and enjoying the outdoors.
