I attended Visitation from first grade through my senior year of high school. In 2012, I graduated from Marquette University with a double major -- a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and in Psychology. I taught third grade in the Northfield Public Schools for three years. I then moved to Chicago to teach third grade at an inner city charter school in East Garfield Park. My time in Chicago allowed me to work with an incredible student population, full of diverse learning needs. This experience encouraged me to pursue my master’s degree. In 2017, I received my Master of Arts Degree in Literacy Education from Hamline University. My passion of teaching is driven by the challenge of working with students at all levels of learning and watching them grow over the course of the year. It is important for me to foster positive student-teacher relationships and instill the love of learning in all students. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my nieces and nephews, getting lost in a good book, and running. I am also fond of traveling – both to visit friends around the country and to fun new places! I am excited and grateful to be part of the St. Hubert School community.
