After graduating from Chaska High School, I went on to earn my Bachelor of Arts Degree in elementary education from the College of Saint Benedict with concentrations in mathematics and Spanish. My first year teaching was in a very small town in southwest Minnesota, teaching grades four, five, and six in a multi-aged classroom.  I later moved closer to home and taught grades three, four, and five in another nearby Catholic School. After the birth of my second child, I decided to take a break from teaching. I began working as a Para-Professional at St. Hubert School in December of 2007. I have enjoyed my time assisting in middle school math and science classrooms, working in preschool, kindergarten, and first grade classrooms, getting to know students of all ages in the School Age Child Care program, and surviving the elements at recess. I live in Chanhassen with my husband and two daughters. In my free time, I enjoy being a Girl Scout troop leader, watching my daughters’ gymnastics and swimming lessons, and being with my family.
