Ever since I was young, I’ve had many experiences working with children through my hometown parish, school and extra-curricular activities. All of these experiences have inspired me to become a teacher. After graduating from college, I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in elementary education with a concentration in social studies (grades 5-8). I also received a minor in environmental science. After receiving my degree, I began working as a substitute teacher for various school districts in the southwest metro area. During the fall of 2003, I accepted a fifth grade teaching position at St. Hubert School. Since then I’ve been teaching fifth grade religion, social studies and language arts. In the fall of 2007, I also received my master's degree in K-12 curriculum instruction. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, singing and enjoying the outdoors.
